Which size should I choose?

Measure your pet from nose to base of tail while they're lying down.

Toca Sofa Bed — Small fits dogs up to 22 lb · Medium up to 44 lb · Large up to 66 lb.
Toca Nest Duo — Small 16" · Medium 20" · Large 26" diameter.

When in doubt, size up. Pets rarely complain about too much room, and a bed that's slightly too small is the most common reason people exchange. Not sure? Email us your dog's weight and breed at hello@hellotoca.com and we'll tell you which one to get.

Will it flatten over time?

This is the right question to ask, and it's where cheap beds fail. Thin foam compresses permanently within weeks — the bed looks fine but stops supporting anything. The Toca Sofa Bed uses a deep cushion built to recover its shape after each use. If yours flattens meaningfully within the trial window, that's a defect and we replace it.

Does it have a non-slip bottom?

Yes. The Sofa Bed has a grip base that keeps it in place on hardwood, tile and low-pile carpet — so it doesn't slide across the room every time your dog jumps in.

Is it suitable for older dogs?

The Sofa Bed is the one we'd point senior dogs toward. The deep cushion keeps weight off hard floors and the raised bolster gives the head and neck somewhere to rest. The front edge is lower than the sides, so getting in and out doesn't require a jump.

Is it suitable for puppies?

Comfort-wise, yes. But puppies chew, and no bed survives a determined chewing phase. If you're mid-teething, we'd honestly suggest waiting — or starting with the Guard Blanket over whatever they already sleep on.

Is the cover machine washable?

Yes. The Sofa Bed, Nest Duo and Guard Blanket all have removable covers — cold water, gentle cycle, air dry. Air drying matters: a hot dryer compresses plush fibers permanently. The Cozy Nest and Cool Mat are spot-clean.

What if my dog doesn't like it?

Some dogs claim a new bed in the first evening. Others take a week — especially rescues and older dogs who've settled into a spot they trust. Put the Toca where they already sleep, add a blanket that smells like home, and don't force it.

If after 30 nights it still isn't their place, send it back for a full refund. No restocking fee, no return shipping cost within the US.

How long does shipping take?

Orders ship from our US warehouse within 1–2 business days. Standard delivery anywhere in the continental US takes 3–7 business days. Free on every order. You'll get tracking as soon as it ships.

How do returns work?

Email hello@hellotoca.com with your order number. We send a prepaid US return label. Pack it in any sturdy box and drop it off. Refund lands 3–5 business days after we receive it. Pet hair is expected — we're not going to argue about it.
